Being that we're in the middle of a band reunion trend, I was curious to hear what bands everyone else thinks are ready for a reunion. We've seen everyone from The Police and Van Halen, to Carcass and Earth Crisis get back together in recent months, so pick bands regardless of their stature. You can just make a list or pick one band if you like. Go in to detail about how awesome they are and why you want them to reunite, if you'd like. PS (Lets try to keep this rooted in reality. Try not to pick bands with important band members dead, like Nirvana). This is my personal wish list: At the Drive-In Fugazi Faith No More (this kinda contradicts what I said in another thread, but fuck it) Mr. Bungle Kyuss Sunny Day Real Estate Sepultura (with the Cavalera's)
At The Drive In will never happen, sorry to crush your hopes XD The Mars Volta and Sparta aren't likely to be subbed for it. Frankly, that's like one of the bands I wouldn't want to reform, remember why they broke up? MOSHPITTERS!
Cool idea for a thread. - Blink 182 - Original Guns N Roses - Faith No More - Adema with Marky Chavez - Creed - Institute - Grey Daze - Soundgarden
I think being realistic would suck most of the fun from the thread... besides, I might be wrong, but I thought ATD-I broke up because Cedric and Omar wanted to make even more progressive music and the rest of the band wanted to do the opposite. But yeah, I am usually wrong. Mr Bungle Faith No More Op Ivy Fugazi (Although they haven't split up per se) Cave In (Again, on hiatus as opposed to having actually split up) Jawbreaker (Apparently they got back together to jam recently so I guess a reunion might be on the cards already there) Test Icicles Drive Like Jehu Rocket From The Crypt blink-182 mclusky Sunny Day Real Estate Snapcase The Pop Group Blur with Graham Coxon Megadeth with either Chris Poland or Marty Friedman Sepultura with the Cavaleras Sneaker Pimps with Kelli Ali Dog Fashion Disco
The Misfits (Danzig, Jerry Only, Doyle, and Robo) or (Michale Graves, Jerry Only, Doyle, and Dr. Chud) Adema with Marky Chavez KoRn Blink 182 The Hidden Oingo Boingo Dog Fashion Disco
I'd give anything for the remaining members of Nirvana to get back together. But you still can't really replace Kurt Cobain.
-Guns N' Roses (Axl, Slash, Izzy, Matt, and Duff) -Pink Floyd (With or without Roger Waters, I honestly don't care. I just want them to tour again) -Led Zeppelin (Full tour) -Adema w/Marky Chavez -Korn w/Head, David, and Munky -Soundgarden -Evanescence (Fallen-era lineup) -Queens of the Stone Age w/Nick Oliveri
Blink 182 is the only one i would Die to see back together But i don't see Tom ever singing First Date again. He's grown out of that stuff Mark Definitely. Mark Is still awesome
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to those of you who said Adema. I saw this new thread's title and they were my first thought. I figured no one would have said it. I think they should have changed their name for this last album. The original Adema was the besssssssssssst. W00t. Oh, and if I had to pick another one, I'd say Pink Floyd, thread ovaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. lol.
Original Adema Original Korn Blink-182 Pink Floyd Dog Fashion Disco Eighteen Visions EDIT: I'm actually surprised I'm the first person to mention Korn
Well, the Ian Astbury led Doors could have been a suitable replacement for the Morrison led Doors, but he went back to the Cult, and now that Fuel guy is singing Doors songs with the original members. Fuck that. Only other one I could think of is the Jesse Leach led Killswitch Engage. I seriously don't like Howard Jones.
