I haven't been too impressed with any of the Burn it Down remixes. I don't want this to come across like I think I'm awesome or something, but I have a pretty awesome idea for a remix swirling around in my head, but I don't know any instruments or any music programs and obviously it doesn't do any good in my head, so right there negates any chance of being awesome anyway lol. I just feel like they could turn out something epic with the sound of this song, and people are too focused on trip-out techno dance music with overly-repeated lines. Yeah I know a lot of remixes do that, but still...
You guys actually fell for that. I do admit that "1StpKlosr" is a pretty good remix, atmospheric sounds and Jonathan Davis vocals included, but I just find it inferior to the other songs on Reanimation. The intro is sluggishly long and uninteresting (compared to "Krwlng"), and could've been used in live shows instead. It takes ages just to get to the chorus. And many remixes are better than "1StpKlosr" (such as "P5Hng Me A*wy", "My>Dsmbr", "H! Vltg3", "Enth E Nd", etc.). Maybe because I don't really like the original song (I don't hate it, just not very special to me). Live performances are pretty good, such as the Live in Texas one. This is the only time One Step Closer got my attention.
I actually hate this song now, and I hate these remixes. This is literally the worst subscription ever. I have downloaded the song but really can't be bothered to listen to it.
Yeah, it has been two weeks and I still haven't received my Burn It Down remix even though I purchased the album off LP.com. I tried e-mailing Adam but I haven't received a response and that was days ago (understandable though as he'll be very busy). I know this remix has got a lot of negative comments but I'm just wondering why I have yet to receive my download for this remix when I received the first Burn It Down remix. Any help?
