But i'm surprised at how "dancey" and groovy it sounded from that snippet! Very cool!!

Am I the only person that is sort of "meh" about it? Nothing about it sounds exciting or intriguing to me, and once again the hook sounds lazy/weak lyrically. I'll hold off judging it completely until I hear the full song, but for now it gets a big "meh" from me.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if they play it live tonight followed by an iTunes/Spotify/Chideo release. I don't see why they would let UFC play a snippet of the song if they weren't releasing it anytime soon.

 

As someone who hasn't cared much for the "new" LP (A Thousand Suns being the exception), this is what I've been waiting for. This is the sound I want from them. We'll see how it is lyrically, but the sound that I want is there. Woo!

It's a lot more subdued than I imagined. That distorted noise before the chorus is great.
