I'm very happy the CD/DVD is white on black. Looks great, better than I thought it would. Still kinda iffy on the regular cover. Everything else looks great.

For anyone wanting the Deluxe Edition but not wanting to spend so much. Hold out for a while. Maybe check other sites, like CDWOW, they have good prices.

I wonder why they didn't invert the color scheme to make black the primary color, like it is shown on the cd/dvd combo? Oh well. Not a big deal.

 

For later reference if anyone asks (as I have been asked a few times already):
When you pre-order either the "CD + DVD" or the "CD + DVD + Vinyl + Book" set's of A Thousand Suns you will get a free digital copy of the album, but you will only get that via email or some other method only when the album is released, so on or after September 14th. When you pre-order now you will get that "Making of A Thousand Suns" preview video that is currently available to watch on Facebook. It is only the 50 second clip.

Derek, I agree every word you say. As you and some people on this board know, I HATED the cover art. I despised it to the point where I started making indications that the logo looked like Pacman. LP, you've proved me wrong and I thank you ever so greatly.

This pre-order is frustrating me. My order keeps on becoming declined. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Even tried two different browsers.

I bought the whole enchilada (all four deal) . The sad part is if they do another autographing launch gig (like what they usually do), I'll probably buy it again to get it autographed since the deluxe doesn't ship till october (as well as meet them in person *)... and if iTunes sells an exclusive song (like MTM did with No Roads), I'll probably buy it again just to get that song... That's three... I think I have problems LOL =P

After spending that much money, I really don't think it'd be that wrong for you to just go and download that song off the internet..
