Well...I can say that CC isnt my fav album.Cause I dont really like Jay-Z...But there are some good songs
I will still like Linkin Park, but they are really getting boring. They're only albums are Hybrid Theory and Meteora, the rest is a bunch of remixes. Bands like Three Days Grace, Stutterfly, Breaking Benjamin, and others are way better, and they really never get boring. The thing that messed up LP for me was the remixes. It ruined the meanings to all of LP's songs, except maybe three off of Reanimation. And they try to keep up, so they release crappy solo album's and remixes, do they think some fans want new LP songs?
I actually think the side projects are so much better. HT and Meteora are a lot of the same, but all the side projects are stretches in creativity that flesh out LP beyond the rap/rock formula.
LMFAO! I overplayed their songs so much in the past that I don't listen to them much anymore, but CC was an awesome album, if anything it made me listen to them more.
The only song I didn't like off that album was Izzo/In The End. Too much like Jay-Z's original. But to tell you the truth, I thought the Collision Course was alright, sure they used old songs, but when they're combined they actually work better into something new more than it sounds on paper. I was mad when I first heard about the album being made, but when I actually heard it, it all made sense, and to tell you the truth Jay-Z was a very appropriate rapper to guest star on an LP album, even though I was never a fan of him previously. So overall, I'm not mad at all, LP still rules, it's society's perception of the band that's the only problem.
