I have to admit i dont listen to CC much because i cant stand Jay-Z. I dont like him or his music (he has done some very interesting things in the music business though). But I do listen to LP all the time.
To tell you the truth, I haven't even listened to all of Collision Course. As for Linkin Park in general, according to iTunes, the last song that I've listened to by them was A Place For My Head on September 27th, 2004. So I haven't listened to them lately.
It wasn't the fact that I didn't listen to them because of CC but around the time of CC and afterwards, I haven't been listening to them much.
I don't care what u guys say.I lv CC. It rules. Shinoda has never really rapped as fast as Jay Z does.So the metal sound plus fast rapping sounds sic!
i have to say that i'm not such a big fan right now as i used to be. i got bored of listening the same and the same songs, over and over again. and, also, the story of solo albums gets on my nerves. i don't understand...they have so many fans that love and support them and they act like they don't care. we were expecting a new album soon and now, with all that warner-problem thing, we have to wait more. damn it!
I remaind a LP fan.I think it's stupid to give up on something just because they made a mistake(and that is JAY-Z)
I'm still a huge fan of LP though I wasn't really into "Collision Course" that much because I don't like Jay-Z's music and so it was a bit strange for me... Of course I own that EP/DVD and I listen to it sometimes but I think it was the worst release so far and the original songs are way better. I think some songs lost their mood and message in a way and it's pity that Chester doesn't sing that much at that CD but I accept it and it's okay... I hope that their new album will be more heavy, though... Like their first 2 releases, b/c like I said, I'm not a hip hop fan...
