Are there any Harry Potter fans?

the 3rd book was my favorite of all the 5, the 5th one is my least favorite so far, i just couldn't get into it as much as the other ones

 

in my opinion there is so much uneeded stuff in the last to book.

 

harry potter, huh? i think it is alright but yeah i dont know. prisoner of azkaban is coming out soon though, so that is good. i like the 3rd, 4th, and 5th, but that is just me, oh well.

same...i liked the fourth book a lot too. the first and second harry potter movies were a bit of a disappointment to me

 

Very wise decision to change directors, the first two movies ruined the book IMO. I'm really eager to see what this new director brings.

 

I just think the next one should be interested....being directed by Tim Burton.

Well I know Burton's directing one of the movies.

 

I am going to enjoy seeing my cousin in the third movie.

I wonder how it'll turn out if Mike Shinoda directs it....

Harry Potter Earns Record $9.2 Million in UK

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban earned $9.2 million from 535 locations in the UK on Monday, which was a national holiday.

That's the market's biggest opening day and its biggest single day, 16% ahead of prior champ Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, which pulled in $8 million on 524 sites on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002.

Warner Bros. estimated the film's Tuesday gross at $6.4 million, which would be the territory's 5th highest day in history. The studio is preparing the launch the third film in the franchise in 47 markets this weekend and the next, on 10,000 prints.

 

I really like the Harry Potter books and movies...cant wait for the Prisonor of Azkaban one to be released.

I like the LOTR series too but the books are way too boring so i prefer HP. But the LOTR movies are amazing.

 

i think the new director is alfonso someone, tim burton may be directing the fourth movie. i think this movie looks way better than the last two for a few reasons:

- the actors are older and as such should do a better job

- the subject of the book is darker, this is my fav book

- it looks like theyve taken it more seriously, keeping the darker tones

all in all i think this looks like the best one yet
