My new band has demo'd a song, the quality's not good, some of the guitar playing is off (because I was hammered whilst we demo'd it) and my vocals are shocking because I've got a cold, but other than that, I think the song's got potential XD

I'm just looking back at some of the lyrics I've written and some are like "cool" and others are just like "what the fuck?!"


And example of the "wtf?" lyrics would be:

I'd like to kiss you by the pool,
But more importantly,
I'd love a pool to start with,
I'd like to kiss you under the moon,
But more importantly,
I'd fucking love to go there.


Edit: I also found one of my old bands songs, and it's the most egotistical thing I think I've ever read.

 

Reading George Pettit's lyrics from the first Alexisonfire album inspires me, even though a lot of them were basically random phrases strung together.
