If you've noticed, I completely deleted all those threads on Silent Hope. I also don't even do Silent Hope's boards anymore. Why? Because it was offensive and what originally was started as an adult forum turned into something far worse. We had people talking about bizarre sex fetishes, a certain couple on there who grossed out everyone, and stuff (like your thread) that was creepy and I eventually stopped visiting the forums altogether. I made it 18+ so we could discuss some topics that LPA doesn't allow. Instead, it got out of hand and the forums are no longer active.

And for the record? That was Silent Hope. That's like me saying something on Facebook and you using the things I say on facebook as proof I'm a hypocrite.

If I post on another non-related messageboard that has nothing to do with Linkin Park, something overtly sexual and offensive...does that mean if you see it there, you're going to say LPA should follow the same policies? It's two completely different sites, and thus your arguement has no ground to stand on.

I don't appreciate you making this whole thing public either. That's what a PM is for.

And why would you want to know what you put in that thread anyways? Tell me what part of your day will be ruined if you don't know how often I or someone else gets off every week? I didn't quite understand why you made that post (when LPA has NEVER had an 18+ forum, meaning its different than Silent Hope entirely) in the first place.

I'm sorry, but you have it all wrong.

People left this place because they felt the need to cause trouble; they felt the need to open their mouths and say offensive things, and do offensive things, to other people. Yes, people have left because they've lost interest. And that's fine, people move on and find different things to do and different places, physical or online, to spend their time.

The whole point of the LPA as an online community is to provide a place for people to celebrate not only their fandom of Linkin Park, but to meet other people and have healthy, fun, interesting conversations. As an administrator, Derek has the right to close what he sees fit. If he feels a topic inappropriate or bizarre, he, as an administrator, has the right to rid the forums of it. It's not up to you, it's not up to me, it's up to him and the staff. There was no wrongdoing on the part of Derek. Right now what you did was instigate: you brought a private matter out in the open so you could ridicule him in a topic that's supposed to be, well, silly.

Forgive me, but we don't need any more people being complete dicks on this board. I'll take a warning if I have to for saying that, but the fact is, the forums have become such a hard place to enjoy because of people like you: who can't get over silly things like the closing of your thread. The bulk of the people who have left are idiots; people who can't seem to understand that an online community shouldn't be insult central or "it's all about me and my right to say hurtful things" place. And there used to be people who took everything so personally, and they were banned because we don't need people spreading their grudges here.

I know I'm not an administrator and so perhaps it's not in my place to say this, but, quite honestly, I'm tired of this bullshit. Get over yourself. If you don't like this place, leave. If you want to stay, that's fine too, but stop crying over a silly topic and having to publicly guilt trip an administrator because you want to know how much other people masturbate. And I mean, how silly is that?

My apologies, but, I'm frustrated right now and I figure that someone needed to hear this sometime.
