Finally downloaded A Clockwork Orange. Will see it tonight hopefully.

The new Lady Gaga video is epic.

 

Agreed. Most of her sounds are just jabber. Nothing inspirational really. Just good beats. It's just an overplayed song that kids think is "in" for the time being, until something else comes along.

 

If you actually listen to the songs, a lot of the time, there's more of a meaning than you think.

Besides, do lyrics have to have a deep meaning in order to make a good song?



I could name another pop star that really didn't have great lyrics, and yet nearly everyone loves them. He also tended to have repeated words and nonsense sounds in his songs.

Seriously though, I understand people not liking her, but there are two things that annoy me about this:
1. If you don't like her, you don't have to pay attention to her, listen to her, etc.
2. If you don't like her, you don't have to try to ruin it for those who do.

Not saying you're doing that Derek, there's just a lot of people who have been hopping the "I hate Gaga" bandwagon lately, just because they can, and it's easy.

 

I want the sun to come back. The weather here right now is dreary.

 

I really wish some people would speak up on Youtube. I kinda want to hear what they've got to say, but they're so quiet.
