In all honesty, who is actually stupid enough to take someone like Nick Griffin seriously?

Because modern news reporting is more about half-formed opinions and yelling than about well-researched stories and interesting anchors.

 

The concert was amazing, The Offspring are fucking awesome, as were DJ AM, 311 and Alkaline Trio. I have seen Taking Back Sunday twice now, and they were much better this time around.

I could barely walk after the show was over, my back and one of my legs was seriously hurting, so I made it as far of the edge of the parking lot and waited for my friend to get her car and pick me up.

It was an amazing day, made up for the shitty week I had.

I feel like thread-jacking tonight. And yet, despite being on so many sites, I can't find one thread that I can jack.

 

haah thread jacking? whats that? its the first time i've heard that expression

 

Thread jacking is where you attempt to take a thread and make it veer away form the original subject. I can't do it with this one, because there is no subject. But if I were to go to the Best Albums thread, and start flaming someone (easiest way to thread jack), then it would be easy to get it off topic.

Generally, it's only considered thread jacking (amongst the people I do it with) if the off topic banter goes on for more than three pages.

At least then you know you've pretty much completely derailed the thread.
