As a synth player I can kind of understand that though. It's not really a question of being too lazy to play it but rather a question of cutting the risk of fucking up the song lol.

 

Some people, in more than one situation, need to learn to calm down and not take the internet so seriously. Far out.

Today should be pretty epic, first time getting out since what happened on Monday so I'm looking forward to it.

 

I think I finally found 'my genre'.

 

One of the things I love most about youtube is the videos it recommends after what you are watching is over, it often leads me to songs I have forgotten about. Just like this one:

There's a huge difference between synthesizers and authentic chiptunes though. Most chiptunes are based on sequencing more than anything. The risk of screwing up is always there regardless of the instrument though. I'm just saying, there are 8-bit bands and musicians who do similar things as Crystal Castles that do their bits live. It would probably give Kath something more to do on stage than sit there bobbing along waiting to cue the next song.

This cut on my middle finger needs to heal. Typing kills it.

 

I've got open wounds on almost every finger on my right hand, because I've been biting at the skin so much lately. It's a pain in the ass.

I guess I'm lucky it's not my left hand though. I'd probably have an infection already if it was.

 

Woah, you got to somehow cut that out. Is it a nervous habit type of thing? I used to know a girl who did that out of being nervous about things.

My cut is from accidentally missing the watermelon I was slicing up and I cut my middle finger with the blade. My God that hurt and bled so much.

 

Yep, it's a nervous habit. I need to stop, but when everything gets really tense, or I get really overwhelmed over stuff, I do it without thinking. I don't even realize I've done it 'til after I start bleeding. The last time I did it with my left hand, I didn't even realize I was bleeding until I saw that my guitar strings were red.

Sheez, you're lucky you didn't do any serious damage. Knives scare the crap out of me, which is why I refrain from using them.
