I dont even need to see the video,I know whats we humans are, well lemme make it clear I hate humans as species,WE SUCK,we neither live in harmony with other species or nature nor with ourselves, from day 1 we have fucked up earth(and wow we are now exploring chances of fucking and messing up Mars Best of luck humans),killing animals(for food, for clothes, for entertainment etc etc etc),and wow what great hypocrites are we,when we kill animals for food its not any bad but when a tiger or any animal kills humans for its food we cry fouland brand it man eater and chase it to death,God save us from this doom that we are creating.and yeah for what I've said I too am inluded in it. and I have expressed my anguish in a poem of mine check out if u would like to,here it is(and all of the stuff above is not to promote my poem) http://www.lpassociation.com/forums/index....t=15507&hl=doom
Then why don't you move to a remote location and sharpen your own spear heads, or collect your own roots, or plant your own crops? What kind of hypocrite are you to live just as I do, or just as we do, and then denounce what has enabled you to survive? I love the human race.
Freeyourmind----I totally agree with you. :hugz: I applaud you for making a thread on this. I've been a member of PETA for 3 years and I am against animal cruelty of any kind. And before someone comes back with the usual "you eat meat don't you", NO I don't eat meat. I'm a vegetarian. I also don't wear fur or leather. Although I'm a member of PETA, I think they go too far with the throwing paint on people for wearing fur, etc. I just joined to support the end of animal cruelty. I don't try to get anyone to stop eating meat or wearing fur/leather. If you want to wear fur, then more power to you. I disagree with wearing it and I won't ever wear it. I don't have a problem with anyone else wearing it though.
wow cool dude,so if any animal smears a human's skin(to be specific yours) u wouldnt have any problem with that, and for God sake cotton is grown, its wool which comes from sheep(and its something like hair and not its flesh and furthermore its wont die if u remove it).sorry but nothing personal here I dont have any grudge angainst you,so no offense, and I wonder when we will learn to live in peace with our sorroundings and oursleves.well hope that happens before God or Nature will show middle finger to us(us is all humans including ME).

So you don't eat meat or fish? We're part of nature too, animals eat each other, I think humans may eat animals aswell. You think a tiger wouldn't eat a human when the oppertunity is there? But it is your own choice wether you use animals to feed, clothe yourself or not.

But it is your own choice wether you use animals to feed, clothe yourself or not.
Well,to ur 1st question I dont eat meat or fish, and u r right, a tiger would kill a human and eat if it has an oppourtunity, but wait isnt there a difference between us and animals or as has been yelled and boasted for genrerations by us humans that humans are the most intelligent and rational creatures,so where is the intelligence, and one more thing after any animal is over with its food, even if u go near to it,it doesnt even harm you,coz its not like us humans who need entertainment by hunting animals.
you still dont need to take another living beings life for a fashion statement.
well, if the animal is to be killed anyway (i.e., food) why shouldnt we use everypart of it. so lealther is fine imo. if you didnt do that, then there would just be more needless death. i dont agree w/ animals being breed to be furs, or killed just for thier fur. or sharks being killed for just thier fins. but, if the animal is to be killed anyway, why not use all of it? --------------- an NO a tiger would NOT eat a human if it had the chance!! i dont appriciate sucha response. a tiger likes to be as far away form ppl as posible! if we were forcing them out of the places they have lived for millions of years, then they wouldnt be anywhere near us. the ONLY reason tigers kill ppl, is they either fell theatened (and the SHOULD since ppl go and kill them just for their gal bladder or penis) or they are so sick and weak and hungry that they are would kill anything to survive. all "maneaters" ar old, decrepid tigers who dont have another option. humans tase horrible, but they are really easy to catch.
I stopped watching after 10 seconds. fucking christ. Now I remember why I hate all of Humanity and I'd rather see 'em all wiped out. Let everyone do those things to each other instead of against animals who are spiritually more mature then 90% of the human population. On the other side, I do have a leather jacket and I don't feel guilty for wearing it. I will never wear fur, however, since that's a whole different universe.
Let's put this into perspective. If someone close to you was terminally ill, what would you do if the only possible cure had been developed thanks to animal testing? Having said that, animal cruelty for entertainment/fashion=bad.

It was an example. and you know this...how? -- anyway's back to ahamlp, I meant to say that not only humans but also animals make use of each other. Offcourse the human is the most intelligent and rational creature, but who says it is wrong to use animals when you're the most intelligent and rational? It is wrong to kill and torture animals like that in the video, but IMO it's ok to use animals. Animals use other animals. We're part of nature, so I don't think nature would show a middle finger to humans only, if nature would show us a middle finger in the first place. And what did you have in mind that could happen because humans use animals?
well i would think that an example should be accurate..... --- its true. Human's eat a lot of meat. meat eaters are normally not the best tasting creatures. all and all ppl are pretty gross. their blood, skin...everything. and obviously they are easy to catch. think about it. how easy would a tiger be able to take over a person? they are weak and slow. that is why we depend so much on our tools.
I understand killing to live. I am not a vegetarian, therefore, I have to understand. What I do not understand is the way you have to kill. Why can't you just immediately kill an animal rather than to torture it? I do not like the idea that the only reason I have food on my table is because a helpless creature was tortured. If you're going to kill an animal for food, just kill it. You don't have to smack it around and mess with it in order to.
You would let that person die, ofcourse. Otherwise you would just be exchanging the life of a non-human animal for a human animal. It's not as if humans are 'more worthy' or anything.

Agreed. Besides, nowadays they are using humans to test out human products. That's the way it should be.
Agreed. Besides, nowadays they are using humans to test out human products. That's the way it should be.
That's good, imo. They should test human products on humans, and ape products on apes etcetc. But because ape's don't wear lipstick and don't take medicine, there's no need to test on them. Maybe humans should stop that nonsense as well.
Exactly. I don't have a problem with clothing from sheep because they aren't killed. Yes, I do eat meat. It's just my opinion that I hate the fact that people kill animals to wear them.

actually that industry gets 50% of their money off of leather, therefore, if people didnt buy so much leather, they would barely be in business. im not going to preach or anything, but im just saying my opinion. people grow up eating meat, thats what theyre taught to do. obviously people can live without meat, otherwise vegetarianism would be impossible. so its pretty much people being selfish and deciding taste is more important than a living thing's life. i think its digusting how they sell whole freakin chickens in the market for $2 at the end of the day. theyre basically saying that those chickens' lives were only worth 2 bucks, spices and all. and of course, when they go rotten, theyre just thrown away and theyre lives were wasted completely. again, just my two cents.
