an american food

I went to america once and I ate this food thing which I cant remember the name of. It's a popular american dessert (I mean, like, a cake thing) and it's rectangular, about an inch thick and is made from about three layers of cake type stuff with jam in between and I think it has an icing with 'sprinklings' on it. I cant remember the name of it and it's really fucking me off so can someone please tell me =)

i think that the crust stuff is gross and that the filling tastes like cough surup lol the frosting is good though

anyways Petit Fours are much better

but i suppose, whatever you're tastes are for.
