Album Leak Reporting Thread

Man, the new Black Eyed Peas album is atrocious. I'm used to expecting only three or so good songs on their albums, but this one has maybe one (the single), if you're being generous.

 

will.i.am didn't clear that post.

 

You know, will.i.am actually makes some good beats, but this album is just horrible. I was expecting far better given some of the projects he's worked on recently. The beats are boring, the lyrics and vocals are the worst on any BEP album, it's just... bad. It's like they all went in separate rooms, recorded some vocals without knowing what the others did, and used old beats to paste it all together.

 

I haven't liked anything from Black Eyed Peas since Elephunk, so now I know I'm not missing much

 

It seems like when fergie joined in 2001 they turned their back on their fans and stopped making the music that they loved. They started putting out this mainstream pop music. I know they now have many more fans and probably make boatloads of money, but it's a cliche example of "selling out."

Listen to "Behind the Front"... You won't believe it's the same group that put out "Let's get it started" or "Boom Boom Pow".
