The American public may think that their country has Iraq's best interests at heart, but I don't think that's why Bush and his gang of corporate crooks really went in there for. I can really understanding people's anger. It's sickening to hear it myself. First Nick Berg and now this guy. But I know who to blame. The terrorists are full of hatred. But who's feeding them the hate? The problem lies with us as much as it does with them. Blindly spouting rage and empty threats to annihilate these terrorists won't work. They're like a plague you can't shake off. To quote Michael Moore, the American public needs to wake the f*ck up. The US government is feeding its public lie after lie after lie, and the sad thing is ordinary people don't even realize that. They think Bush is the savior of mankind when he's the friggin' anti-Christ for all I care. And to paraphrase what George Orwell said, there is always a need for an enemy. The government will always instil fear into the people's heart (whether it's fear of communism during the Cold War or fear of terrorism today) in order that the people will look up to them and give them all the power they want. That's what Bush is doing right now. Why can't people see that? And anyway, who's "we"? The American people? Maybe. Bush? Cheney? John f*cking Ashcroft? Don't think so. Jesus f*cking Christ. Don't people learn anything? Is revenge the only thing people can think of? Won't that just piss the terrorists off even more and incite them to kill MORE Americans, thereby perpetuating the violence? Tact is the key. Take a lesson from Churchill. Radical Dreamer for president. You are a f*cking genius.
Radical's only going along with a guy who makes a living picking out America's faults all the time, when really I'd rather not have to listen to him whine how America is ####ed up every five minutes. Michael Moore is just annoying and he's as much of a media whore as anyone because he's always going [plug] "Don't forget my movie farenheit 9/11!"[/plug], like some coorperate sellout. Michael Moore's a jackass. I don't care what you people say in his defense but it's true. Bowling For Columbine was a great movie but now he's almost as overexposed as the f-in Olsen Twins.
Then he's not half as exposed as I want him to be
If he wants millions of people to see it he should air it on cable TV, not send it to the theatres.

Just 'cause he's annoying doesn't mean the things he says are not true. He's right in pointing out how LIMITED civil liberties are in America. I hate to say this, but this country has almost become a police state, if it's not one already. For example, did you know that the Patriotic Act, made by George W Bush and John Ashcroft, allows for close surveillance of American citizens? This means the government now has the right to read your emails, monitor your phone conversations, see your library list. Hell, they can even come and search your home without a warrant - that is, if you're "suspected" of terrorist activities. But that's just a pretext; the Patriotic Act lets them do whatever the f*ck they want. The only reason why guys like Michael Moore make such a big deal over these things is because they're true and the public needs to know. But if people are willing for them to be covered up and silence the critics in fear that they're too "whiny" or "annoying", then America is going down the drain. THE TRUTH HURTS BUT IT'S STILL TRUE.
I'm not saying what Al Qaeda did is right, but, compared to how many innocent Iraqis we've killed, 2 beheadings is nothing. We're nothing but terrorists to Al Qaeda and they're defending themselves. Isn't that the same reason we went into Afghanistan after 9/11? To defend ourselves from terrorism? Im not going to be like some other people out there and say this is so tragic and horrible and we should go kill all the Arabs. We are no better than they are
great site i agree with todd. not that i think that its fair that a innocent business man died. but i see the iraquis point of view.
