Probably the vast majority of it. I wouldn't be surprised if LP played only singles from their older works.

I think LP may be playing less & less material from their older releases, unless they change them up somehow. Because this album seems like it will stand apart from tracks on HT & Meteora, and they probably just won't work together live. On the other hand, I can't see them not playing their singles, just to please some of the casual fans, but I can't see them playing them all either. I think we may have seen the last of some songs live with the unveiling of this CD.

I figure a lot of these songs will be in the live set. Mainly cause of what Joe Hahn said about the visuals they had planed for the tour. I have a feeling hearing the album will be one thing. Hearing and seeing could be something awesome...

This is where the Somewhere I Belong/The Catalyst mashup will come in. Juxtapose those lyrics and keep a straight face.

Yes it seems to be a common thought about lives, cause i wondered the same. I think too past songs will be abandoned or changed soon. If im not alone thinking behind that connection, means there is a reason. And they will feel it too. I think MTM has some songs that can be kept used in lives (at least if i try to imagine the sound of the new album), but still, this new album feels like it has to stand on its own, like a brand new restart or something.

Remember folks. LP doesn't play every song from the album live all at once.

I'm sure we will be getting a good mixture in concerts.

Agree with you, that name sounds badass, in fact all the names of the songs are very similar to names of Metal songs .. Interesting.

I would say they will play 9 songs from this album. These are the songs that they MUST play. Not necessarily for me personally but to please the casual fans.:

    What I've Done
    New Divide
    Shadow of the Day
    Somewhere I belong
    Breaking the Habit
    Faint
    Numb
    In The End
    One Step Closer
    Bleed it Out
    ---------------
Now, that's only 19 songs. I would say they could get 22 in per night. Maybe even 25 if they felt generous. So now, there IS room for some less popular (but better in some cases) songs. Such as POA, Lying From you, Crawling, Papercut, From the Inside, A Place For My Head, one M2M song and maybe an underground song such as My December. If they were to play all the songs I listed, that's 26, so they would have to do some rotating. As you noticed, I didn't list much M2M. I could see them only playing 3 M2M songs. There just aren't any songs (excpet WID, BIO and SOTD) that were that popular. Perhaps No More Sorrow may get played alot because it DOES sound awesome live. Anyways, as long as they don't play a lot of M2M, there is still room for their old stuff.

Edit: I do like/love all the M2M songs. I just think most of them lack energy/aren't popular enough to be played live. Songs like Given Up should be dropped IMO. If Chester is going to try to scream (which is harder for him to do now), I want him to do it on other songs. Don't waste it on an entire song like GU!

They have to drop some of the singles, surely. :3 The last setlist was virtually nothing but songs that've been put out as singles, they have so many of them now.

I think I actually remember seeing something along the lines of "No metal" in regards as to what the album will sound like.

"Heavy without being Metal" was what Chester tweeted earlier this year, I guess.

edit: I was responding to someone else, however realized the thread had really moved on since what I was replying to. Fail. But with that said, I'm really excited for the album, 15 songs is an awesome, very welcomed change. I'm sure speculation has it that 1 will be an instrumental, as well as an intro or interlude type ordeal.

As Mike stated with the album having a "greater thread of consistency" I'm sure the record will "flow" from song to song, making it feel like your experiencing something as whole.

I personally see One Step Closer being taken away for a while.

That's a LONG set... which would be awesome... but I'm not so sure that's going to happen.
