A Thousand Suns Tracklist

^Fair enough. Maybe I'm wrong, and she's the exception to the rule. If so, than more power to her, but I'm still skeptical.

Anyways, as you said, this isn't a Lady Gaga thread, so let's move on. I wonder what the lyrical content of the album will be like. I can't imagine them singing/rapping about lies and other angsty stuff with songs like "Fallout" and "The Radiance."

 

Okay I am going to make a narrative out of this track list. I'm not saying that it's going to be a concept album but I'm doing this for fun/guessing.

The Requiem - A haunting instrumental that seems to prelude the tragic things that are to come

The Radiance - A little hope that lingers just before the end.

Burning in the skies - The hope is averted, the event happens anyway.

Empty spaces - Being that the event happens, things will now be quarantined & survivors will be searched for.

When they come for me - The government comes to pick up the survivors to check their health/radiation levels/or the enemy comes to pick up the survivors and keep them as POW's or to just kill them. No one wants to admit they're damaged and no one really wants to be a prisoner and at the mercy of foul people.. Thus they will use any way possible to avoid any sort of conflict.

Robot Boy - Being kept in the care of the government/enemy/ (government could be the enemy also) a person begins to feel that any hope of moving on is lost. Which means they have become apathetic towards everything. Aka. They feel as if they're a robot, marching on, void of emotions.

Jornada Del Mueto - Feeling apathetic may seem just like death. So in a sense the character could be the "Walking dead" just doing what they're told.

Waiting For The End - Everyone waits for it to just all be over, the war, the pain, the suffering, emotional struggles. Or they're just waiting until they finally die.

Blackout - In the post event people are not aware of their surroundings as much as they have usually been. Media blackouts disable news from traveling and everyone is in disarray

Wretches And Kings - Being in the event, many people will do what ever they can to survive, that means being wretched and evil until finally they become able to dictate someone or something.

Wisdom, Justice And Love - Even in the tragedy that has taken place there will still be a few who are good hearted, helping out one another defending one another and carrying out justices in a world without order.

Iridescent - A somewhat gloomy yet encouraging instrumental that gives off some sort of curious atmosphere that alludes to the feeling that things just may be get better after all. Many lustrous feelings all in one. Kind of prismatic in emotion.

Fallout - A metaphorical phrase for the unexpected turn of things to come, the effects that plays on emotions caused by the event. Also, the setting of the things that were "burning in the sky" path to conclusion.

The Catalyst - There are broken people living under a "loaded gun", but then something spectacular happens that changes everything. Something very good which causes the people to believe that nothing can "out match" "out fight" "out think" or even "out run" them. They see that they have to let go of the past and move on "lift me up, let me go" and maybe in the tragedy of the event they realize that moving on to start working together gives them a sense of purpose and that purpose is a part of something. Strength in numbers. being as powerful as a thousand suns.

The Messenger - An instrumental piece about someone who comes to declare that everything is over, or if you think about it that everything is starting. (Every ending is a new beginning ) Either way, think of horses stomping, horns blaring, a mass celebration.

Guys, I just realized something. I don't know if this has been brought up, but this tracklisting is probably just for the standard album. I wonder if the special editions will have an extra song or two...We can hope, right?

That's what I was wondering too, because the picture says "Internet Album 1." Maybe there's an Internet Album Twoooo possibly hopefully could be?
