Well you can, but you need to learn how to do it a lot more respectfully then you have been. There's a reason you're being attacked on here and it's because (as Andrea put it) you're acting like an angry gorilla. I suggest you learn how to interact with people a lot better down the road, because right now your first impression isn't a good one.

LOL and as I listened to the clips again, did you notice the label of there music on the left hand side? INDEPENDANT PUNK lol. No Numetal No ROCK. This is there new direction for sure. POSITIVES. When they come from me. Wretches and Kings. Blackout. Catalyst. and POSSIBLY MESSENGER. 5 Tracks, that scares me.

I guess my problem with this album isn't the lack of guitars

I quite like the electronica side of lp, and synths based music in general

But the though aggressive side of the band it's almost gone

I would feel gay listening to some of this songs in public I can't even workout to it

I'm sure we will get some piano brad, and maybe some cello phoenix. There are enough sounds they will have something to do, even if its not guitar or bass. I'm betting on phoenix having at least one vocal part live as well.

I'm surprised no one else has pointed out how awesome Wisdom, Justice, and Love is. Am I the only one who loves it so much? It's so eerie and dark.

I just want everyone to realize that it's OK to be scared, unsure, go wtf and want to cry when you hear the clips. Why? Because most of us don't know how those songs will turn out because they they sound so different and we have no idea what direction the songs may take. So be scared and unsure and give a big "WTF?!!" if you wish. But don't judge it until you hear the final product in its entirety. :)

I did have a wtff moment upon first hearing the clips, but now I'm even more curious and excited about the album. A Thousand Suns may be a legendary, epic album yet.

As for everybody getting on SonnyIanni's case about mentioning HYRBID/METEORA...its ok, it seems like me SonnyIanni and I share similar opinions, I've read these threads and anytime somebody is negative about the album, someone automatically labels them a troll you can't do that... I think LP sounds poppish on this album, whoever mentioned that LP has gone from Metallica to Coldplay, I have to admit that I agree, they went from guitars to electronic synth sounding pop... I know someone will tell me well then go listen to Hybrid/Meteora or any nu-metal songs, people Disturbed is still making music and they're songs sound different but they kept their roots with them, same with Slipknot, I mean yes bands change but for god sakes, I don't recognize LP anymore and its scary...

That's past the point. If you raise a valid point people are usually willing to discuss it with you civilly, so the stuff about not being able to take criticism is not true. If you want to "normalize the temper of people" don't talk bollocks in the first place.

I understand this fully and it sucks to read comments like this. We're sorry but I guess it comes with the territory.

Linkin Park is different. People are scared of what's different. I'm still surprised people thought they would go back to nu-metal when everything was showing them going the other direction.
