IRIDESCENT WILL SLAY ALL ITS BAD TALKERS! BEAWAHWAHWHAWHAHAH.

I, for one, know of its potential. Strike it down now and it will be more powerful than you can ever imagine.

Turtleguy556. You are a tease. Do you go around poking hornets nests by any chance?

It's kind of a bummer that these clips were put up so early. They don't show off the album at all. :(

Yeah i've been comparing the clip of wretches and kings to the same part of the full mp3 and the lack of quality takes so much away from the experience. Another reason why I wont be listening to the full 'Waiting for the End' song played on the radio tomorrow.

Dammmn I need to hear this album.

Well there is guitar in burning in the skies:

    5) Untitled [4'26"]
Of the six titles, is without question one the most surprising. Like what could be "Breaking The Habit" on Meteora, this piece, where Chester sings alone, stands out from the rest by its lack of thickness. No guitar is heard before the third minute. Repeated many times Chester "I'm Losing What I Do not Deserve". Potential title: "What I Do not Deserve".

Will The Messenger be as amazing as the preview indicates?

    Exactly.

    Looking forward to it :awesome:
By the way, I'm not getting Robot Boy based on the preview, just how does it sound throughout the whole song?

I shouldn't have listened to these, haha. I promised after Minutes to Midnight I wouldn't, but here we are.

How I reacted to this and the Minutes to Midnight clips is very similar. What I expected the songs to sound like from the 30 second Minutes to Midnight clips was radically different from what the final product was, and I know this will be the same.

That being said, the clips have me excited for When They Come For Me, Waiting For The End, Blackout and Iridescent.

    Also.. Blackout sounds VERY Reanimation.

After listening through them twice...I have to say I'm incredibly excited for the album. For better or worse this has a lot of interesting stuff coming out of it.

Quick rundown on my opinions of each track (sans interludes, which all sound pretty cool IMHO, but not much to add opinion wise, they're cool):

Requiem -- I know it's an intro, but w/e...it sounds very ****ing cool.
    Burning In the Skies -- =/ I don't like what we've heard.
When They Come For Me -- SWEET! Fun, intriguing, very catchy beat and Mike seems pretty on-point.
Robot Boy -- Hard to tell without hearing other parts, but I like what's available. It's...different, in a familiar way.
Waiting For the End -- Eh...just kind of boring really. And then I know Mike's part is coming up, so ewwww donotwant =P
Blackout -- Wow. Really out there, but awesome. I can't wait to hear the whole thing.
Iridescent -- Don't know if want.
Messenger -- I like how raspy Chester's voice is. So I like it.

I already love Wretches and Kings. And the Catalyst is so-so IMO. Like I said all the interludes sound pretty damn cool. So all 'n all, the album has a lot of promise IMHO. Should be a fun experience to listen through it. Only ones I don't think I'll like are Waiting For the End and Burning In the Skies. Not bad.
