to tell you truth guys when i heard the name of the album i was expecting something really epic as a cover art.something like celldweller's ''wish upon a blackstar''.
but honestly now that i look at it,i realize that art doesnt need to be complex to be epic.
it is really cool IMO.

 

All I hear is people talking themselves into liking this cover art. Sorry but to me it sucks. Plain and simple

 

we havent seen the complete artwork and consept yet.you may change your mind later,as we all may do.

 

I guess with all the delays that happened with this album everyone was expecting an uber cover. I'll just sit back and wait to see where LP is going with this. I'm just ready to hear the music.

 

I have grown used to the album cover, but still it's not very good.

 

And that´s the reason why LP can´t take 3 years to make an album.... people make long drama scenes for everything!!!

I wouldn't say people are talking themselves into it but coming to understand it more and grow to like it. Just because they slowly come to like something does mean that they're talking themselves to like it.

 

Aye, this is the best fansite all round. We could put together an ebook that answers one question spanning 25 some pages as to why this is the best LP fansite, but we won't - it's self evident. I believe and agree with what most people are saying. LPA staff set the rules and we must act in accordance to them or clear consequences will follow. We must be cool within the present, durable, and flexible boundaries determined by the LPA which help lead to human happiness.

Remember what Mike has said in the past about information beyond face value. There's a story behind everything, and this is no different. Obviously, they could have picked a better one than this. Every album cover could have been a different one that was way better, but its out of our hands. It's official. I believe they went with the ballsy move over other options. We'd all like to see the alternate proposal album covers for ATS.

The problem with most members here is that they are just looking it as LINKIN PARK's album cover and NOT just a piece of ART of an ALBUM COVER. Loving a band shows dedication, but giving them favors even though something just sucks doesnt always make the band improve over time, in my opinion.

btw, if any fan would have proposed this as an album cover then i am 100% sure no one would have liked the album cover. am i right?
