it just pisses me off how some can be so stubborn about something they really know nothing about. anyone can say: "i hate country!!! country sucks!!!" but that's really all they're saying because they dont know why they hate country. even worse, when they dislike something, they show no respect for it. as if its not worth their appreciation, its really not worth anything.

I have a friend and he hates rap, he only thinks its about ho's and all that stuff which 50% of rap songs are about but he just bad mouths it all the time and when its like me and him and 3 of our friends and a rap video comes on the TV he just spends like 5 mins through the whole song bad mouthing and calling the rappers gay and all this stuff. Rap doesnt suck its pretty damn good and the only reason he thinks it sucks is because hes racist and trust me he is, he hates Jewish people and blacks, he loves hitler and in his art book theres a page filled with "white power" over and over filling up the whole page. I think he just likes sameness and anything different he just hates. He doesnt know what hes missing.

 

Everyone has their own opinions. You have your opinion that it's wrong to be against certain types of music or be racist, but someone else's opinion might be it's ok to hate certain music and not like a particular type of person.

To me, you're just as bad as you're saying they are because you're claiming they're wrong when it's just your opinion.

You should respect other people's opinions and views, not claim they're ignorant or stupid because of it.

Well its not against the law to have your opinion but its against the law to make hate crimes against a particular race, so if you are rascist and you promote hate crimes isnt you opinion wrong then ?

Off-topic : At this point, it's not only an opinion, it has become a problem ; having different points of view is OK but thinking you are superior and wishing for the death of people different from you now it's really bad. Off Topic End.

On-topic : LP has done a really good job . 6 million sales for a 2nd album is good! And I don't think most of HTs sales come from ITE... They already had lots of succes before ITE's video, but Evanescence was almost unknown before BMTL.
