3 Days Grace did rock until the radio station here started playing their songs every half hour. They need some new material for me to say they rock again because I'm tired of hearing their old stuff
That's quite biased of you, FZ. Only "Just Like You" and "Home" are about their parents. "Wake Up" can be applied to a situation about parents, but it's vague. The thing with 3DG is that their lyrics are very relatable and can be applied to situations involving parents, but they are most of the time not about the specific situation. I suggest you check out the full album, it's great. 3DG are one of my favorite bands. Can't wait for the new material. Great live band too.

It pisses me off when people... 1) Say a band is bad if their overplayed. The music is the same quality whether it's played 5,000,000 times or 5 times. 2) Say that a band is good/bad after only hearing singles. GRRRR! I like 3DG. Some of their songs seem to just repeat the same thing 4-5 times. But the music is great, and the lyrics are cool because they can be applied to so many different situations. You can really relate.
Three Days Grace is awesome and I can't wait for their next CD. I saw them live back in July when they were on tour with Breaking Benjamin, Seether, and Evanescence. They are really good live. My favorite tracks would have to be "Home", "Let You Down", "Take Me Under", and "Just Like You".
i dont know........they are not all that great. at 1st i liked their singles but thenthe radio sorta killed it. hearing " i hate u" every freaken minute is annoying

Nah Just Like You is easily the worst song on the album. (I Hate) Everything About You is an alright tune but I can't beleive that they still either finish or encore their shows with that song. Anyways I saw them live with Velvet Revolver on Tuesday and got the lead singers guitar pick, it was a pretty sweet show. They played a new song which was probably one of the best songs that I heard live that night, it says on their website that they are going immediately to the studio at the beginning of this month to record a follow up which is expected to hit shelves in the summer. Probably late summer or early fall i would suspect.

I CANT WAIT and even though what they say is often repeated. i dont get annoyed or sick of it. I can listen to that album for a week non stop and not get sick of it. there is just something about it.
Their stuff is okay... 'Just Like You' is kinda repetitive. 'Home' is a pretty good song, but the video freaks me out. Most of the songs I've heard (the singles) are repetitive and all sound alike.
They're an awesome band live. I saw them with Cold and Mudvayne right before "(I Hate) Everything About You" came to radio and they were amazing. They just need to get away from the angst and go towards a new topic. Plus they need to work more on the lyrics (i.e. Home: "Once you are home I am already stoned?")
