.. ive seen many ads for music clubs that sell 12 cds for the price of 1 if any of you heard of it... one of them is columbiahouse.com and in the end it says you can get 12 cds for 33 bucks or sumthin including shippin and everything... is it true? did anyone actually bought cds from these places?
I did a really long time ago, but I never payed for 'em (I was like 8 ) and there's some catch. I think it's like you have to buy a minimum of 2 CDs a year @ regular club price. :wth:
yeah, its something like that. You end up paying for more than 1 CD. Just use the interent. Unlimited CDs for the price of none
haha AMEN to that.... but kazaa has gone way too insane nowadays ... search for papa roach.... 90 out of 100 comes out Outkast.... oh ... i thought it said you can cancel membership at anytime right?
We usually buy our CDs through BMG Direct, but I have no idea if it's available in Canada. We used to use Columbia House (though not all the time) and we just got hit with an $80 bill after it was supposed to be buy-one-get-four-free. So we cancelled our membership with them since they're liars.
what the.... those bastards... but like do you get all the cds you want though? and why is it soo cheap? if everyone buy cds this way wouldnt the record company go bankrupt..?
I don't know why they do it but I don't complain. And yeah you do get all the CDs you want. You just have to make sure you fill out the form right.
what i meant was that do they have like all the cds like in a record store... caz i searched the columbia house website and they only had a limited selection of cds..
oh it's real baby. i am in the 15 free cd's thing (columbiahouse) which is actually better cuz you get 15 free, instead of 12 for 1, and you only have to buy 4 more in the next two years, instead of 6. i have two accounts at columbiahouse. yeah i am a loser, but i am a loser with a lot of cd's, so it balances out.
