WHAT. The "string intro" is a rendition of the Game of Thrones theme. Ohmyshit. The two things I have by far nerdgasmed the most over in my life together in one glorious intro. Words are now failing me. Hello, August 19th, I'm headed your way right the hell now. This guy's video is pretty rough, but you get the idea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dz2BSuGjKUw This one only catches the last few seconds, but it sounds a good bit better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHCHpILhN0U&list=UUioyZKTrha7jwqKlcznVQ2w&index=1&feature=plcp
The setlist is so amazing!! With you as first song? Victimized/Qwerty, in my remains and much more! <3
One of the guy who was there and took vid of IMR says it was Phoenix. Edit: Whoops, no he says it was Brad.
I just want to say that Linkin Park is at its peak at moment ,its impossible to ignore that they still with the same energy that they used to give to the crowd 12 years ago .. THEY STILL GOT IT !!! And the setlist COME ON ... THEY R PUSHING themselves to the limit which is pretty dope
No Crawling, From the Inside or Lies Greed Misery? I guess Minus will have to settle with "Somewhere I Belong" on the tour. unless Minus take the longest restroom break of his life
Yeah, this concert was awesome! GO COLDPLAY!!! Wait...wrong concert? I'm glad the band is mashing up older songs to give them a bigger creative edge while allowing for more songs to be played. Still want more LT songs. At least Given Up and No More Sorrow were NOT played. I'd agree that we need Somewhere I belong to be replaced. How can they not play LIES GREED MISERY? Through in a CASTLE OF GLASS and Blackout and I'm down with this setlist.
He says sitting alone in front of his computer screen. Seriously, the show was insane. there was nothing mellow about it except maybe Numb and the medley. they rocked the hell out of it.
No more than 12 posts above you and you will see the link for the String intro. By the way, Loved this Setlist.
Have you EVER said something positive about this band in your life? I have yet to see it. Let's count the "mellow" songs. 1. Waiting For The End - but OH WAIT, it has that absolutely filthy verse from Until It Breaks on it. 2. Breaking The Habit - debatable whether this song is "mellow" to begin with. Especially without the piano outro. 3. Medley - How the fuck can you NOT like this? Be glad that the 3 songs were combined into one epic buildup 4. The Catalyst - this is really digging deep. I can't really even say this is mellow, but for your benefit I'm counting it. 5. Numb - Bland? Yes. Mellow? Heavy guitarzzzz say otherwise. So even if you took all the possible songs in the set that were "mellow", that's only FIVE songs out of TWENTY. 75% of the setlist was uptempo and bursting with energy. That's not even counting the heavy song mashup. And then you go on to say WTCFM is awful, and that they should bring back a worse song in it's place. Some people can never be happy.
Wretches and Kings was the worst song on the album. It's an out of place throwback to an older sound, and honestly felt a bit uninspired to me. When They Come For Me eats it up, shits on it, pisses on said shit, and then steps on it. When They Come For Me is a better song by every stretch of the imagination. I'm sorry LPHS, but a lot of the posts you make here are just inviting ridicule. I wonder if you realize that.
I personally think WaK is the second best song on ATS... would love for it to be played. I would also love for Blackout to come back. and No Given Up? why!
The band was fucking insane last night. I'll write up a bit more later. One of the best LP shows I've seen. AND FREAKING PYRO. Didn't expect that.
YES i do realize that, and i do realize that i am entitled to my own opinion arent i? And IN MY OPINION WTCFM is wack
