I agree that LP lost popularity among "headbangers" but I mean, the majority of their setlist was older tracks, so what did they want then?

You have a valid point though.

I'm afraid some people didn't want to see LP at all, and were like "Oh no, it's Linkin Park. It's gonna be lame." There are always been LP haters, but they have outnumbered over the years.

That and many other facts pointed out by neutral watchers on Rock Am Ring forums : sound too low, those who were far from the stage couldn't see the band since the giant screens only showed animated clips, ...

I agree with you. We gotta see how the reception for LIVING THINGS will be, like you said.

But I have to remember Mike's quote from his blog "content people will not complain, unhappy people will complain" .. So maybe, and JUST maybe, they are not an overwhelming majority, but are more "noisy", it's just a theory I have.

Well, majority or not majority, at this show, they were far from noisy  But I understand what you means.

Anyway, maybe the Rock Im Park show will kick ass, who know?

Watching this to forget the Rock Am Ring from this year:

Don't know if everyone's migrated here from the RaR thread or not so I'm posting in both spots. Here's a video of APFMH.

It's such a fucking shame the crowd is so dead. Chester's screams sounded incredible! And the ext. outro has vocals on it now!

the bad crowd doesn't surprise me at all. just look at brad, he seems so bored during live shows nowadays. and they don't really interact with the crowd anymore. they were a great band live. they still sound awesome, but their performance is nothing special anymore, looks like they dont enjoy it. chester is an exeption though.

Mike's clearly enjoying it again. Just look at the APFMH video I posted above you.

All slow songs should be removed from the set, Chester should drink a bottle of Jack Daniels before the show, and the band should have pyro. Then the band would be interactive again. Lol.

the crowd is dead.. maybe due to the fact that the band played late? and in fact, its possible for the band to think some ways to get connected or to interact to the fans/crowd.. if they could do the same energy last RAR 2004 then it be more interesting to watch... ROCK IN RIO was awesome.. but ROCK AM RING? what happened? it supposed to be special..
