how could you say this song is horrible? i personally am not much of a fan on hip-hop and rap stuff(because the always talk about stuff that is stupid) but this song has awesome lyrics. from the lyrics(i personally) can get.... like a visual of what he is talking about. (is it just me or did that sound strange? ) oh and for the record if you can't tell if mike was rapping or not, then DUH!
Alchemist is an underground hip hop producer...hes very good B) Hes done a lot of work with Dilated Peoples who u all know well since they have appeared on stage with LP once bfo and they also reanimated H! VLTG3.
x-Ellent track! the video kicks ass! i didn't even know they made a vid for it until i went to "The Linkin Park Effect"! (i personally don't keep up with linkin park's videography )
its not that I hate the rap-side of linkin park. but this is probably the only linkin park song I really really hate.
i love this song, its my favorite on reanimation i have the lyrics stuck in my head all the time hehe, but there cool lyrics
The Way I See It: frgt/10------>Rhinestone Remix X-ecutioner style------> Forgotten remix. hahaha look, it's not that frgt/10 is bad, it's just that all the other tracks are a little bit better, The part where it goes "In A Memory..." Was Ruined, I think we all agree on that right?
Linkin Park fans and just other people in general I have to talked to about this song (by the way everyone I have played it to has loved it) believe that the computerized "In the memory you'll find me" part is the only downside to the song. I know many of you on this board aren't terribly fond of Evanescence or Amy Lee, but I've thought about how someone like her would have sounded singing that part... I had always had a respect for Linkin Park, and enjoyed some of their Hybrid Theory singles, but it was this song which converted me into a diehard fan. Reanamation was the first Linkin Park material I bought. I had been a massive Jurassic 5 fan for a number of years and after hearing that the great man Chali 2na was to feature on a Linkin Park song I thought I'd download it. Downloaded it, loved it - bought the album - loved the album, and it progressed from there!
Yeah, i think it destroyed the whole thing...maybe if it was the original forgotten chorus wth the same effect it would have been better.
