    Spirit Box

    You wonder if eternity lies
Faith you say, is all but broken
    Upon their rocky edged alibis
    Now doubt is thus awoken

    Planets spin in hypnotic orbit
Was just a single word spoken?
A curious mind doth question it
    Stumbling close to treason

A spirit box of answers awaits you
Carved in fire, and inked by unseen hands
Inside lies the spirit, that answers only a few
While evidence is tossed in the wind

But there is a dark guardian to heed
The Keeper seeks only to deceive
And plays you to your insatiable greed
While his hate for the box never leaves

His siring sinister eyes of grey
Looking for signs of your coming
Dark his cloak, that swallows the day
    Eternal damnation, he is awaiting

But what you wish, is found beyond
All your doubts are soon to rest
With the sword of truth evil is gone
Your heart beats pure, inside your chest

Capturing life found in the spirit box
The rain starts to stutter, then cease
Wisdom is inside, so be rid of your locks
Gain faith, not hope, for in it release

The intricate design that time cannot hold
Inside a white whisper, it is speaking!
Hear the prophesies, do as your told
Life is unlocked, once you start believing
