Linkin Park's 2025 U.S. dates are commencing soon with a show in Austin, TX at Moody Center on April 26. To celebrate, the band has put together From Zero Fest, a series of pop-up events taking place throughout Austin between Thursday, April 24 and Sunday, April 27. This announcement comes in the form of social media posts using graphics designed by the band. These visuals are also going to be featured on merchandise items which fans will have opportunities to obtain. All throughout the From Zero Fest window, fans can stop at Desnudo Coffee and order a "Linkin Latte", described in the Instagram post as "a limited-edition Desnudo coffee with fermented strawberries and cold foam". Desnudo has two coffee trailer locations throughout Austin, and the beverage will be available to order at both. Each day, the first 20 fans to order will get them for free, and attendees will additionally get the chance to win stickers and "golden tickets". In addition to being involved in Linkin Park's From Zero Fest, Desnudo has also partnered with the band for a donation to Tree Folks, an Austin-based organisation that promotes reforestation. Alongside that, on April 24, there will be a "Linkin Pork" takeover launching at Torchy's Tacos' flagship store in Austin, where attendees can "relive your nu-metal era—with pork", including free tacos and drinks for the first 100 people in. This takeover runs from 9 AM through to 8 PM local time, and does not require RSVPs. The Torchy's Tacos website reveals that there will actually be a "Linkin Pork" taco (not a joke), as well as other details like attendees getting access to exclusive merchandise and even a chance to win VIP tickets to the Austin show: On April 25, there will be a 6 PM - 10 PM event at Mohawk, a bar venue, promising a "carnival-style evening" where attendees can enjoy games and prizes, check out a custom hat station, and ride a mechanical bull. This takeover is described as "a fan-focused second-day activation" on the Torchy's website. There are once again free tacos (presumably the aforementioned "Linkin Pork" variety) and drinks for the first 100 people to turn up. Even though Mohawk serves alcohol, the event is open to people of all ages. Fans can find out more and RSVP for this event on Mohawk's website - RSVPs are not strictly necessary to attend, but nonetheless encouraged. This From Zero Fest takeover event resembles the Hamburg takeover from last year, although much smaller in scale. It remains to be seen if Linkin Park might do it more than this once during their 2025 tour schedule. Source: Linkin Park on Instagram
Look. Linkin Park doing these pop-ups is great, but I'm going to go on a tangent. Hey. Torchy's. What the fuck? I don't know what specifically you're doing these days. But the changes to the menu are fucking appalling. Dear forum-goer, let me describe to you an interpretation of heaven. Imagine a flour tortilla filled with smoked beef brisket, grilled jalapeño cheddar sausage, fried egg, cotija and cheddar cheeses, topped with sour cream, cilantro, and Diablo Sauce. It was called the Ace of Spades, and it was DELICIOUS. Now it's gone. Fuck you, Torchy's. (tangent aside if you get a taco other than the Linkin Pork, I recommend getting a Trashy Trailer Park Hillbilly, which is a variation of the Trailer Park. It has fried chicken, chorizo, chopped bacon, green chiles, green chile queso, mixed cheese, and pico de gallo with poblano sauce on a flour tortilla) This comment was not sponsored by Torchy's.
