Linkin Park: Live From Madrid DVD to be Released?

    According to Ghost Town Media, Linkin Park are maybe set to release their performance from Madrid on DVD at some point in the future.

    "We just finished work on the new Linkin Park live DVD from Madrid.
    check out linkinpark.com/ for more info."    ​

    GTM are responsible for the visual effects seen in LP's latest videos, the Meeting of a Thousand Suns DVD and the live show imagery.

    This performance takes place on November 7th 2010 at the Puerta de Alcalá in Madrd, Spain and was recorded as part of the MTV EMA's. You can check out the full set list for this show - here.

    This has been rumored since Phoenix touched on the subject in his LPU Chat some time back, and if this is anything to go by, we'll be seeing a retail release some time soon. It remains to be seen if this will be released as a stand alone DVD or as an A Thousand Suns Tour Edition with the live performance DVD as an extra to the album. We'll keep you updated on any official word from the band.

    Lets keep on hoping guys. I wont another live DVD but i doubt it will happen. :(

    Am I the only one who thought the Madrid performance wasn't special, and who can't understand why they keep releasing this concert as downloads etc?

    The MSG performance is far superior to this.

    Yeah. The MSG performance was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Madrid.

    According to LP Brazil, Linkin Park are going to release some kind of A Thousand Suns 'Tour Edition' with this special DVD in March/April.

    That would be nice..... I would like A Thousand Suns On Blu-ray in 7.1 with all the videos. I guy can wish right lol

    That would make sense. To be honest I'd rather they did that than release this as a stand alone DVD release. Especially as they released the EP from this performance too.

    I think Madrid was not that grand... i hoped they would do a DVD later, when they will have more confidence on ATS tracks... and maybe do some special laser thingy, dunno something special as NIN does for lives, but whatever, i'd buy it anyway hehe.

    Madrid sounds too similar to Meteora. I say they release a Live DVD from the Texas shows. Because we're just awesome like that. :derek:

    That might work. Most people might not care if it's a stand alone DVD. Plus you can go on the net and pretty much watch the performance anyways. :p

    Now, just throw in an ATS b-side(if one) and then you might have a winner.

    Madrid DVD? No. If there is going to be a DVD it MUST have blackout. That is a killer track and brings all energy live.

    LP also need to close with blackout or open. Both would be epic.

    Nah! The carpet was hideous and gross from the previous owners, and it has really nice hardwood flooring underneath it. So, long story short, the carpet is now gone. :awesome:
