The LPA Awards V5.2

Oh god, help me, I'm in he-- I mean, I'm the host of the LPA Awards: Version 5.2! And my co-host...he's my Marilyn Manson to my Trent Reznor...it's Derek! It's that time of the year again. It was scheduled for earlier this year, but I got myself banned, but it's back, brother. It's not really better than ever, but you get the point.

- This years LPA Awards feature guest appearances by...an assload of people in the LPA Chatroom! Yay!

- Performances by...Nine Inch Nails with Fred Durst! And also, for the first time ever, we introduce Joel & Benji Madden to their long lost father...NFL Announcing legend, John Madden! Oh my god, we're better than MTV (Not really).

It's simple, like it's always been. The rules are very easy to understand.

01:: No voting unless you have been here longer than three months.
-- To be able to vote fairly in each category, you must have experience of over three months here on the forums. You must know who you are voting for before you just slap random names down.

02:: You may only vote once.
-- Self-explanitory.

03:: No voting for yourself.
-- Self-explanitory, again.

04: Voting
-- PM your choices (and you may choose anyone) to me or Derek and we will tabulate them.

05: Voting Ending
-- The cutoff date for voting is June 20th. Votes PM'd to either of us will not be counted while counting.

06: No Skipping Categories
-- No skipping categories. If you do, either myself or Derek will PM you and ask you to redo your votes. You may not skip a category, okay?

Yes, I stole that from Mark. I'm lazy, and so is Derek. Anyways. The categories are as follows:

01. The Hand That Feeds / Best Staff Member:
- Who is the best staff member on the LPA, whether it be moderator or administrator? I like to call this the suck up award. That's just me.

02. AWITH-AHUMOURAH / Funniest Member:
- Who do you believe to be the funniest member on the LPA? Who makes your sides split with delight, and all that other good stuff?

03a. I Wanna F*ck You Like An Animal / Hottest Guy:
- Hello ladies. Who is that guy that you wish you could take a plane to where they live and jump their bones? Apparently I can't break the keep it clean rule, so I can't go into detail.

03b. I Wanna F*ck You Like An Animal / Hottest Girl:
- See above. Replace Ladies with men/boys. Replace girl with guy. Etc.

04. Please (Make Me A Sig) / Best Graphics Artist:
- This is that award where Keaton usually sweeps it all across the board. Who makes the best sigs and whatnot?

05. The 1988 Trent Reznor Award / Best Writer:
- In 1988, Trent Reznor was writing such Madonna ripoffs like "Purest Feeling". It's gold, and so are alot of songs and poems in the Writer's Cove. Who writes the best?

06. No, You Don't (Have An Opinion) / Best Debator:
- Who argues the best about how much George Bush sucks? Or how wrong the Iraq war is? Hmm? You decide. I don't wanna touch it.

07. Why Do You Get All The Love In The World? / Personal Favorite:
- I'm running out of ideas. Who do you love alot?

08. I'm So Random, And Right Now I'm In Love With You / Most Random:
- I probably should have called this The Chris Award. Anyways, who is the most random member on LPA? Who says weird things all the time and they don't make any sense?

09. Genius Loves Company / Most Intelligent:
- Shit, that's Ray Charles, isn't it? Oh well. Who is the smartest member on the LPA? Like, so smart, they might cure cancer if the government would allow it?

10. The Only Time (I Created A Good Thread, Was...) / Best Thread:
- So, last year Random Thoughts won the thread that everyone loves with all their heart and liked to spam in. My Anti-Bible thread got 3rd place. Will Random Thoughts take the cake again this year?!

11. Right Where They Belong / Banned Person You Miss:
- Many a men have said if I was banned, I'd win this. But I'm not, so I expect Will to win this. Moving on.

12. Best NIN Newbie / Best Newbie:
- Who is the best member that has only been with us at LPA for 6 months or less? Sorry Branden.

13. Pretty Hate Machine / Most Confrontational:
- Who just gets up in everyones e-face and chews them out and spits their venom and drinks the hater-aide?

14. The Anti-Linkin Park Award / Best Musical Taste:
- Do you like Fiona and her emo/hardcore style bands? Odaton, for his progressive rock? SolXfyR for his rap? Vote now!

15. I Don't Even Watch TV / Best Taste In Entertainment:
- Who can diss Microsoft & Nintendo the best? Who liked that new, cutting edge show first, and made everyone jump on the bandwagon?

16. I'm Looking Forward To Joining You, Finally / Next Mod Or Admin:
- Self explanitory. Who do you think on the LPA will become the next moderator or administrator? You decide (not really)!


Oh yeah, and I will be giving out the "Casey's Choice Award". If I like you and you know it, expect to be nominated by me to get this award that means nothing at all. Wheee.
