I kind of noticed that some peoples sigs are getting to pretty ridculous sizes and even though it doesnt matter on broadband and a reasonable monitor, but when I'm on my laptop they cause maximum annoyance. So i'm just asking if a size limit could be put in place at a reasonable height and width. Example: It can be easily scaled down and is just really annoying on smaller screens.
That right there is only 75 pixels or so larger than what we used to allow on the older forums. When the new skin comes (being soon), images will probably loosely follow the same previous guidelines of a maximum of about 525 pixels in width, so please bear with it. If it becomes unbearable, you can decline to view signatures here.
Yeeah, if you're on a 56k, then you really should disable avatars and signatures, otherwise no complaining.
...as in drop the red and any extra formatting you use and keep it plain. It hurts my eyes sometimes when I see this red blocky text come out of nowhere.

Heh, looks like I dont need to warn LPFM whatever as she already got herself banned. As for signatures, sorry guys but I actually think we're going to instate signature restrictions on these boards because I agree that things are really starting to get out of hand. Look at my signature, it's huge enough already and is already at 525x275 (which is a resolution Mark told me once and I've loved it ever since lol). That right there should really be the max because, honestly..what is the need for anything really over that? Anything bigger takes ages to load on a 56k and quite frankly there's no need for it. So if you could guys, please keep your sigs to 525 in width...tops. It's easy to resize such things in Photoshop/Paintshop Pro and if you need help with it, I'm sure there's people on these boards willing to do that for you.
Well, actually, Derek's total sig is a bit longer with the text, but he's allowed to have it b/c he's an admin. Everybody should really shorten their sigs to 500 x 250 or so, ay?
