You're Never There Why do you play me like a game, Now you have my trust completely, Is there anything that will take away the pain, Or will the edges tear tonight, And even after everything (you're never there), That broke the glass, That gnawed me raw, Because even after everything (you're never there), Are some things just too difficult to explain, Like a fallen angel all you love is to hate me, Tried so hard as time's sand take away the gain, A heart so cold it howls like the tombstone, And even after everything (you're never there), That choked my breath, That drained my veins, Because even after everything (you're never there), Why are you never there, Why are you never fucking there. Thoughts please...
For what this poem is about, i felt it was to... superficial. As to say it didn't really feel that heartfelt. It didn't have the power to persuade the reader to feel your emotions, that was the only downfall of the poem. Overall it was pretty good, the lyrics were awsome in themselves and it had a really nice flow, would probably make a good song.
