To clarify, I mean with classic music, bands like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin etc... not Mozart & Beethoven
Wait how the hell did I miss this. Maybe it's a bit overrated but he's still got some really damned good stuff bruh. Death Grips is just alright. They're cool and experimental, but they're the kind of artist you listen to and are like "Oh that's a neat idea" and then move on because there's low replay value.
So was MJ, Chris Cornell, and Kurt Cobain. You can be an icon before death and death will overrated you more than already are (in some cases). Collecting CDs is still fun in 2017
Eh, I agree that Blink-182 is fine without Tom, they don't really need him to sound good, and Matt Skiba is a great vocalist as it is, not to mention that Mark Hoppus always did a lot of the singing in Blink anyways. But I don't agree that Adam's replacement in Three Days Grace is good, I don't like it at all, and I was never a huge Three Days Grace fan to begin with. I just think he was pretty unique and he kind of put his DNA all over that band. There are some bands that just wouldn't be the same at all if they got rid of their singer. Imagine if My Chem tried to carry on without Gerard or something. Or Dead By Sunrise without Chester singing. Or Muse without Matt Bellamy. Those are just a few examples.
Matt Akina is an awful vocalist and Blink-182 should break up again before my favorite band of all time gets ruined.
I guess you meant Matt Skiba He's a better singer than Tom imo. Tom's vocals where never really good to begin with. His type of singing just worked surprisingly well for Blink 182. But the same could be said for Tim Armstrong of Rancid. His singing isn't the best either, but it really fits Rancid's sound. I rank them among the best Punk bands ever actually.
Nah mate, Matt Skiba sounds too much like Mark. Tom gave them that great contrast. I was shown some Black Veil Brides yesterday and they actually sound pretty decent. Agreed. If there is a song that takes the title of "Most overrated song of all time" it's Bohemian Rhapsody with We are the Champions close behind. I'm breaking my own rules here, another unpopular opinion I have: Queen is not a good band.
