What's your favourite LPU album and why? Mine is a toss up between LPUX and LPUXI. I think XI wins over it, though, I think the Meteora demos are a lot better than some of the things that appeared on the album. Broken Foot, Program, Bang Three and Slip... My favourites in LPUX are What We Don't Know, and Pale!
My favorite is a tie between either LPUX or LPU5. I have always loved the Live 8 show, and I used to play it all the time back in the day. I joined the LPU in 3.0, but I liked the 5.0 more than any of the previous LPU albums for some reason. LPUX is also really cool. What We Don't Know and Pretend To Be are probably some of my favorite LP tracks of all time, especially What We Don't Know. Wasn't much a fan of LPU11 besides Yo and Bang Three.
My favourite album are LPUX and LPU11. I love Pale, it's such a wonderful song! Bang Three is also a really great song! I can't say ONE favourite album though, because I actually I like all of them.
I really loved the last one, especially because of the HT demos (Slip / Blue) . So 11. 10 and 9 are really close though
I'm going with 10, I absolutely love Pretend To Be, Pale and Halo and I enjoy the rest of the tracks except for the POA demo and WID remix. 11 was way to power chord heavy for my liking, old ones like 2,4 and 6 were great too but they didn't have enough content; 3,5 and 7 we're all just live tracks with 3 and 7 being completely pointless because of the Live In Texas DVD and DSP's; LPU1 was good but we would still have the EP without it so it's out of the running for me; number 9 is also really great but not my favorite.
9, some of the demos are fantastic. And its great to hear songs in a state of pre-album production to get a feel for how the band records and modifies each song for its place on the record. X is a close second. Pale is the best instrumental demo ive ever heard, and What We Don't Know is an awesome song.
LPU 9 for me. It took some of my favourite songs (Faint, The Little Things, Figure.09) and showed me a completely different approach to them. We also got Fear which was an awesome look at what Leave Out All The Rest might have been. And then there's Across The Line which is just plain amazing.
Agreed. Pale is fucking epic. I love it. Makes me wonder what other kind of music was created in 2006 similar to Pale that will never see the light of day....
