    I'm not talking about tv/movie stars who read form a script to be funny, I'm talking about the guys who think up their own material and perform it to an audience.

    My favorites would include;

    Conan O'Brien (he's a part of his writing staff and a great improvisational interviewer. greatest impersonations too [anna nicole smith, george bush, arnold schwarzenegger, donald trump])
    Colin Mochrie (One of the best improvisational performers I've ever seen)
    Ryan Stiles (Like Colin Mochrie, very talented.)
    Jerry Seinfeld (His observational humour is unparalleled)
    George Carlin (Like Jerry Seinfeld, but with curse words)
    Dave Chapelle (One of the funniest sketch performers I've ever seen)

    And Yours?

    Jerry Seinfeld (who also plays on "Seinfeld"), Drew Carey (who also plays on "The Drew Carey Show"), Ray Romano (who also plays on "Everybody Loves Raymond"), Kevin James (who also plays on "The King Of Queens"), Ryan Styles, Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie, George Carlin, and Mitch Hedberg.

    And Tenacious D. :lol:.

    Lewis Black - without a doubt, this man will make you laugh by breathing.
    George Carlin - one of the funniest comedians I've seen on stand-up.
    Wanda Sykes - makes me laugh in any mood.
