I remember the some moments from the time very vividly. In the summer of 02, I went bike riding with my friend. When his dad picked us up, I heard In The End on the radio and remember hearing it on the radio before that (sound familiar eh?) Anyway, I downloaded Papercut and With You and only listened to Papercut. I bought the album during that summer. I walked to coconuts when my parents were in Walmart or something and bought the album. After that, I took the CD in a car trip to a wedding and only listened to Papercut. Eventually I listened to each song until I could only listen to the album all the way through. I remember the last song I started to like was With You. I was walking in my driveway getting in the car to go somwhere, listened to it, and thought "why have I always skipped this track."

    *Goes to listen to HT*

    i was like 10 or 11 when i first
heard In the End on my friends comp
i was never into rock or anything before
(mind you the backstreet boys were the biggest
things back then) so i thought this kinda music
was pretty awesome. i found out the name
and got it down from napster and then i started
searching for more songs from the band
little by little i liked the bands music more and more
at first anything besides crawling or in the end was
pretty loud for me..but then i started getting used
    to it and loving it...
    the rest..............is history B)

Lets see...Iwas about 14 and a sophmore in Highschool. I was in Drama and we had to perfom a lip Sink with a song of our choice.
Some Freshmens the next day came in and did One Step Closer and In The End.
Thats when I looked into this band and began to like them, but I didn't really get into them till like 1yr ago when I heard In The End again. After that I was like I got to buy their CD.
That same day I bought Hybrid Theory, Meteora, and Collision Course.
