Blood Incantation - "Absolute Elsewhere" Genre: Technical Death Metal / Progressive Rock I listened to this one twice in a row today, so yeah, it's a banger! I've never heard a death metal band incorporate prog rock into their music quite like this.
Bring Me the Horizon - That's the Spirit Genre: Alternative Rock Still a banger! Spiritbox - Eternal Blue Genre: Alternative Metal / Metalcore Sabrina Claudio - Based on a Feeling Genre: R&B
The Roots - Rising Down Genre: Hip-Hop Probably going to spend a few days with that one, it was long due I'd dive into it.
The Roots - How I Got Over Genre: Hip-Hop This one didn't instantly hook me like other Roots record, but I think it'll be a grower. Definitely more jazzy.
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - PetroDragonic Apocalypse First KGLW I've ever listened to, thanks to last nights brief shoutbox convo. Great album!
Azure - Fym Genre: Progressive Rock Way too long but still enjoyable Native Construct - Quiet World Genre: Progressive Metal Really good stuff
Glass Animals - How to be a Human Being Genre: Pop / Psychedelic Pop This album really broke a wall down in my tastes in music, and one of very few that are no-skips, no-notes. It’s a concept in that every track is based on a character inspired by someone the band met on tour for their debut album, “Zaba”. If you know and maybe like them only by their largest breakout with the track “Heat Waves”, I highly recommend taking a look back with this album.
VOLA - Friend of a Phantom Genre: Progressive Metal / Alternative Metal Slightly disappointing but still decent
