So yeah I heard Korn's new single "Ya'll Want A Single" on the radio the other day (at about 5 in morning). Instead of "f*ck that" it's replaced with "suck that" and the "f*ck that sh*t" is now "suck on that". It doesn't sound too bad but...I think it's a dumb choice for a single. I mean, it's a good song and everything...but the purpose of it is susposed to be like "The record company wants a single? Let's see them get this on the radio"...so to edit it as a single kind of defeats the purpose to me. I would have picked "Alive" or "Counting On Me." Just thought I would share that.
I would have picked Everything I've Known, but whatever. Korn's website says that the fans (on their message board probably) wanted Ya'll Want A Single to be a..well, single. I doubt that, but that's what it says.
"suck that"? well that takes some intensity out of the song now, doesn't it? lol. how ironic that this has become a single. i would've picked "counting on me".
like i said before... 'Counting On Me' for the 2nd single, and from there 'Everything I've Known' for the 3rd single and if there was a 4th... 'Alive' or 'Play Me' ....could've had (or can have) tons of sales off those songs and yes 'Y'all Want A Single' is definetely a really good song, but it's not single/radio material.
