A new field has been added to your control panels which will allow you to update your profile with your Xbox Live Gamertag. It's just like the other fields (AOL Instant Messenger, MSN Messenger, etc.), so all you have to type into the field is your gamertag, and that's it. Now people viewing your profile will be able to tell if you use Xbox Live or not.
Heh, right as soon as Will got an Wbox, he added that thingie Why not add the PS2 on-line thingie too?
I was going to, but I wasn't sure if there was one.
Hm, i'll ask Cal who uses it and i'll tell you what to add.
As far as PS2 Online goes, there isn't really one. Each game company has their own log-in and registration. For example: you can have the same log-in name in both Madden '04 and Need For Speed Underground, because they are both made by EA. However, you cannot have the same log-in name for both Tony Hawk's Underground & Madden '04, because THUG is made by Activision and Madden by EA. However though, there are big plans to make them all universal before the end of the year. Just like XBox Live.
Hm, i'll ask Cal who uses it and i'll tell you what to add.
im the only one here that uses it as far as i know but yeh, you dont have a specific name on ps2 online, even though i use the same one anyway lol
Maybe you could make the box just for online gaming tags and leave the people to put the console name beside the gamer tag. Then it could work for PC games too.
