What Reanimation songs did you hate the most? I didn't like In The End, With You, Papercut, or By Myself at all.
Yeah, High Voltage wasn't very good. I didn't like the beat, or that ringing sound throughout the song. The EP High Voltage was the best.
whats funny is that I hated High voltage at first....but now that I have gotten really into Reanimation....Iv'e really come to like alot of whats been done to it......The ONLY thing that ruins the song for me is the one piano key that is hit over and over and over again in the song....If they fixed that...I think it would have been a great remix Of course...thats also when I hated alot of Rap... When I listen to Reanimation NOW.... I would have to say With You.... They just stripped away what made the song cool in the first place (The oringinal guitar riff in both the chorus and verse) and just put in a much more simplified guitar and sonar blips......that would have been all fine and dandy if they put another sample in to really set the song apart....but they didnt.... The only thing I really thought was cool in that song was the more middle eastern style Chester was singing in....and the piano that lead into the intermission at the end... I also wasnt that Impressed with By Myself Either.......I think Marlyn Mansons remix was better
following songs were awful: forgotten high voltage cure for the itch a place for my head following songs were great: opening (maybe the best) points of authority pushing me away (amazed) with you my december by myself i didnt like forgotten, because it turned out so slow on reanimation and had no energetic moment. i dont think that this matches to the song. same with a place for my head. the only impressive part of this song is the extreme shout part of chester at the end, rest of this song is not really new. the cello/violin opening is amazing, maybe one the few reasons i put the cd to listen. pushing me away is awesome because of its melody, its so much like linkin park. with you is hot, very strong, same with by myself.
It should be least favorite instead of worst. They are all good. My least favorite is X-Ecutioner Style because I don't think it should be on this album. Maybe like a LPU cd or something but not this.
Worst song... <s>My Byself</s> By Myself. It's too much of the same old. Hence why Forgotten is one of my favorites.
i totally agree with everything.. if they took out the piano loop.. or atleast lowered the volume of that one track then the song would be alooooot less annoying... however i really like High Voltage.. especially the crashing cymbals in the beat B) the intro to With you kicks ass but i dunno.. i didnt think they reanimated it well enough.. the same with By Myself.. like you compare In the End to the reanimated version or Forgotten to the original and the two songs run on different wavelengths... With you and By Myself didnt really follow the equation but none the less i love every track on that album
In particular, i didn't like PLC.4 Mie Hæd or Rnw@y, those are probably my least favourite. especially the guest vocals. none on those tracks were really all that relevant. And H! Vltg3, which wasn't as "reanimative" as Mike's remix. 1Stp Klosr would be okay if they shortened the intro a bit. But it too isn't really all that different. Jonathan Davis' voice is a bit warped or something. WTH>You is okay, just again not reanimative enough. My favourite tracks are (in no particular order) PPR:Kut, FRGT/10, X-Ecutioner Style and My<DSMBR.
Dont know about you guys but i like H! Vltg3...i didnt even notice the piano key until i read this forum. I really hate My<DSMBR.. i can barely hear the words and they keep on repeating the words "this is my...."
H!vltg is one of my favourite songs on Reanimation The worst is PPR:Kut. Even the original (Papercut) sucks. The only thing thats good is the intro
Least I like on the album has to be X-Ecutioner Style, it starts cool but goes down from that, apart from that the whole album in fantastic B)
Awesome: With You - I absolutely love this version My December Good: Pushing Me Away - Like the live version better A Place for My Head High Voltage - The paino key is annoying, but I like this better than the old remix Papercut - I like the darker music and the way it's done Runaway - I love the music in this one, and the guitar part By Myself One Step Closer - If not for the 2 mins of music in the beginning, this would be great. Chester + Jonathan Davis = goodness Decent: Forgotten - Don't like the deep chorus Cure for the Itch - I like that there's parts of Step Up and Technique in it Bad: Points of Authority - Hate the music and video In the End - Bleh X-Ecutioner Style - The beginning is decent Crawling - Makes me want to sleep when I hear it
i like the album but i think it leans too much towards the rap/hiphop side. I think songs like X-ecutioner style were good but better if on a hiphop album. Songs like crawling and 1 step closer have really long beginnings and what is the point of enter mission?? i dunno
