Meteora and Hybrid Theory are my least favorite albums. Though the two albums have great singles within them (Easier to Run, In the End, Breaking the Habit), but as a whole the albums do not stick with me. Maybe I'm just not into the whole nu-metal thing, but songs like Lying From You, Papercut, One Step Closer, Don't Stay, etc. rarely ever end up being played. I find those songs to be some of their weakest work.
Probably Minutes to Midnight. While LT is also a weak album, at least it feels a bit more cohesive and easier to listen to.
Not really, but moreso than MTM. Hey, I'm a fan of LP's experimental side (and a ton of other bands that aren't nearly as poppy at LP), ATS is still my favorite album by them, but I'd take an album with catchy songs over a failed experiment any day.
I actually love every album they've done (Yes, including Meteora), but my least favourite so far is Living Things.
Living Things is some of the best stuff the band ever wrote. Minutes to Midnight is their worst, easily.
I love all the other five albums, but I will always have conflicting thoughts about Minutes to Midnight. I think the first side of the record is Linkin Park's best work so far, but the second side is the polar opposite; the worst they've done so far. For me, the first side and the second side of the record cancel each other out completely. Therefore, Minutes to Midnight doesn't exist. #logic
I would say "Living Things". I've lost the interest relative fast, because it's pretty shallow or "superficial" to me, even when it has some great melodies (and good songs). But overall, it's their weakest to me. It is really similar to "Meteora" as related to catchiness and so on, but "Meteora" has more energie and emotions.
Fun fact: Nobody has ever claimed Hybrid Theory as their least favorite album before. To my knowledge at least
