Windows Themes

I want to know if there are any free programs that allow custom themes/visual styles to be used on Windows XP

i know theres a lot of free trials for things like StyleXP and WindowsBlinds (i think thats what there called), but is there any actual free programs.

Thanks in advance if anyone has any ideas.

 

Best method is to patch your UXTheme.dll file, allowing you to use any unsigned visual style.

 

windows blinds is crap, don't bother with, do what tomi suggests.

 

The patch is best because it uses no extra resources, Windows Blinds and StyleXP require extra resources to run their programs, sometimes slowing down your computer.

edit...sorry, i must be annoying now, erm i have downloaded a visual style, what now? i think its wrong file type, 'msstyle'

ok, anyway i think ive sorted this out, ill finish in the morning, dont have the energy to sit here and reboot my laptop. (well wait for it to reboot anyway)
