At one point, LOST IN THE ECHO was at #36 in the US iTunes charts and #47 in the Australian one.

Yep, but you'll need a good performance during a full week to get a chart position in the top 100. Probably it LOST IN THE ECHO will enter the charts in the US since its still at #113 in iTunes.

PS: In Switzerland, the numer 1 album is confirmed to be Johnny by Patent Ochsner, which means LIVING THINGS will debute at #2. But it has good chances to get it in the second week.

    Swiss iTunes Album Chart:
    1: LIVING THINGS
2: the annual compilation by Cathy and David Guetta
3: an album by some random artists i've never heard of
    4: Johnny

PPS: According to Musikmarkt.de (http://www.musikmarkt.de/Aktuell/Ne...inkin-Park-mit-vierter-Nummer-eins-mit-Videos), there are some re-entries in Germany besides to the debutes:

    German Albums Chart:
    1 (0): LIVING THINGS
    68 (89): MTM
    82 (95): Meteora
    98 (0): ATS

    German Singles Chart:
2 (2): BURN IT DOWN (unluckily, the 7 days on top of the iTunes charts were splitted into 2 chart weeks)
68 (0): LOST IN THE ECHO
    74 (0): Numb
    80 (0): New Divide
    81 (0): What I've Done
    83 (0): IN MY REMAINS
    85 (0): In the End

Yes but LIVING THINGS is on top of Italian iTunes since the release date. Even today it's on #3 behind two compilations, which don't count for albums chart. Probably the chart week has begun before the release date, so LIVING THINGS had less time to get #1. If so, it will most likely get #1 in second week.

Sad to see the huge decline in the music industry sales compared to 10 years ago.

Linkin Park is still alive and well. And so is Maroon 5, for that matter.
Warner Bros. rap-rockers Linkin Park's Living Things debuts at #1 this week on the HITS Album sales chart with a total of 235k, just about equal to their last release, 2010’s stylistic departure A Thousand Suns, which debuted in September that year with 241k. That makes it WEA’s first album chart-topper of the year.

because her album is one of the best albums in history or at least recent history :whistling

It's nice to be a part of their success in this matter. When you're this passionate about a certain group, it's an awesome feeling to know you helped them hit the top of the charts.
