To be fair it did reach #1 in the alt. rock charts here in the states.
So is WFTE considered as a "major hit" in the US? I don't follow the US charts so I have no idea how the singles do over there. None of their singles do very well in the Official UK singles chart, I think the last song that did fairly well was New Divide.
Not a "major" hit, it took almost 4 months to hit number 1 and even then only spent 4 non-consecutive months there.
I think when they movie ends and people hear it come on in the credits they will be like "what song is that? It was amazing" just how they were with What Ive Done. I remember when the first movie came out and people walked out asking what song was at the end of the movie because no one recognized it as Linkin Park. If they make the movie end dramatic or really heartful with the more serious approach that guy said they were going for and Iridescent comes on then it will be a hit when they hear it in theaters. I really hope the movie can give off the same emotions as the song.
Didn't they say it would be used as the background to an argument? Noone's going to give a fuck about it then.
Where did that come from? In both movies What I've Done and New Divide had excerpts spread throughout the film's score and was then used in the end credits. Thinking the only place you're going to hear the song is during a single character dispute is insane. Especially after the enormous deal both the band and Jablonsky has made out of it.
No they never said that.
