So, Im wondering if this is happening to anyone else. You go into the news section, but the threads are not sorted by last reply. They seem to be in a random order (note the times for the last reply for each thread). And the "Live the Life of a rock star" thread always appears at the top, but its not stickied.

Anyone else notice this? It isnt happening in other sections.

Yea I noticed that too. I think they might be sorted by when the thread was posted, so I tried to change it back to Last Reply, but it just reverts to being ordered by when the thread was posted.

I don't know if it's just me, but I like it like that better.

And just so you guys now, it's always been sorted by topic start date. I think there was a period of time after first switching to VB it was sorted by last post date.

It's so that the newest posted news posts are displayed in the same order as they are on the news page. It works well.

Nothing is more annoying that having a two-month news post float back to the top of the news forums and overshadow the most recent news.

We used to have it like this on the old forum, but when we reverted over to vB, we lost it. It's back now.

And if you scroll to the bottom of the page, you should be able to change the sorting to whatever you want :)

I tried changing it, but it just reverts back to Thread Start Time.

Doesn't matter, not a big issue though, I can get used to it soon enough.

    Ah I see.

And yeah, even if you change it on the bottom, it still reverts the next time.
