Can't make it through the video, the hipster douchebag factor is too strong. Disliking popular things for cool points is so old hat a tactic. Reddit is nothing more than a content aggregator, btw. If you find yourself fuming then you're on the wrong subreddit.
There are plenty of people that don't give a shit about Karma, such as me. Reddit has informed me a lot, so I say it's pretty useful.
More like "compiling a bunch of things you recognize, whether or not you legitimately make a joke or not, is moronic as balls". You probably should, the entire point is that the production line comedy is horrible and requires nothing resembling wit or even the ability to properly piece together a joke. It's also not so much "the website reddit did this", it's that the website wades so much into that particular brand of non-comedy that's so prevalent these days. It's not making anyone "fuming". I have no idea what you're getting at. Are you implying I or anyone else is insisting that Reddit is full of bad people doing bad things? You don't necessarily need to be a bad person that's about to be hit with karma for being more obnoxious than the worst Family Guy episode, but that doesn't mean it's not crap, either.
Didn't like when the dude was trying to make the video humorous, but the main point is pretty solid. Or maybe I just hate memes and family guy so much that I'd agree with whatever he said.
the dude jordan said it best. tried to hard to be funny, just like the guy he was trying to get people to not support. if you're going to try to talk down the popularity of memes(which are based around sarcasm.) then don't make a 10 minute video being a sarcastic fuck/crack jokes that clearly set themselves up in a meme-like fashion.
It boils down to unfunny people, more than the medium in and of itself. They should all be fitted with collars like the ones in Battle Royale that go off when they make a reference to taking an arrow to the knee.
