I never knew nickelback did this song: Why Dont You and I any idea what album this was off of? just curious if anyone else has heard this and if they know the album they did it on or if it was just a regular single or something or i could be completely wrong haha
"Why Don't You & I" is a song by Carlos Santana featuring vocals from Chad Kroeger of Nickelback on its album version and Alex Band (ex-The Calling) on its radio version. Clauses in Nickelback's contract prohibited Kroeger from appearing on the song if it was released as a single, so he personally chose Band to replace him to sing his vocals on the radio version.
