Why doesnt Linkin Park have guitar solos?

Sure Linkin Park is a great band, their Power Chords do rock. But I am concerned and so are many people, that why doesnt Linkin Park have guitar solos? Every linkin park song has the same structure....
Intro keyboarding, riffz/bass, then rap, then chester's chorus, then rap, then chester's chorus, chester's chorus rewind with screaming....

Linkin Park does not have any guitar solos....that is why so many heavy metal listeners hate linkin park so much. Linkin Park could do better with GUITAR SOLOS

 

but they are already the best now

We have the interview available from the site if u don't find it on the forums, but I believe Brad said he didn't want solos because he understands music theory in the fact that Linkin Park is a group effort.

I think that LP don't have guitar solos because they would feel that the song was too loose or that they would loose the main point of a song. Yeah i agree that I think it would start to bore them to have a long song. LPs songs are short and sweet, but guitar solos would be very nice.

 

Are they forbidden? I sure hope not! Guitar solos are one of the coolest things ever. Even if Brad thinks group effort matters, it'd be cool if all the band members have their own solos. Joe, Mike and Chester always have their own solo so it'd be nice to have at least one drum, bass or guitar solo in their songs. Power chords are great, but some guitar solos and more complex riffs would up Linkin Park's musical factor by a notch or two.

 

honestly, i don't think they have the talent to do guitar solos. IMO, mind you. They're fine the way they are, why change it?

It'd be nice if LP started to drift away from the nu-metal and go completely hardcore metal, but that won't happen. I could see Chester quitting Linkin Park sometime down the road, maybe in 2005, and forming an industrial band, like nine inch nails is.
