Name who (one) had the best performance at the MTV icon: Metallica. And please say why. And dont say that this band was the worst or something like that.
I believe it was limpbizkit. Because he had this great energy performing and I think he did a great job singing the song! ^_^

Limpbizkit had the best performance of the night other than Metallica. There was a lot of energy in the song and Fred was really into it, and he really got the crowd into it as well. Every time they showed the members of Metallica they seemed to be really enjoying it. It proves that limpbizkit really isn’t as bad as everyone makes them out to be.

(Other than Metallica themselves, of course...)

Since I've watched it again, I changed my mind from Sum 41 and Staind being the best performers to Korn. I just loved their energy. I mean, did you see Jon and Fieldy up there? :p Korn also didn't stray too far away from the original emotions of the song so I liked that.

I think on kazaa maybe, but I doubt it. I think it would be better watching the performances. Go to http://www.nothingvideos.com/ to download 3 videos. and go to http://urbanchaosvideos.com/index2.html under downloads, you can get Korn's.

my choice is a bit bias due to the fact that mtvaustralia hasn't shown it yet & the only performance i've seen was korn's (thanks to kazaa  )...

but i have to say, the way jon davis did the chorus on "one"... that was freakishly similar to [forgot-his-first-name] hetfield's voice from metallica.

i thought that was really amazing. their performance was damn good. and that it was worth a mention.

I would have to say Korn, for the fact that when they preformed it sent shivers down my spine. 'One' was the song my brother used to play ALL the time when it came out. He would even sing along and had a makeshift drum set so he could drum along with Lars. So not only did it nearly make me 'piss my pants with excitement', but it brought back memories. It was a really awesome job. I had to hold myself back from clapping because my parents were in the kitchen and I was in the living room. I think they would've been concerned if they saw me stand up and clap to a preformance on the tv.

I liked limpbizkit, Fred was great "leave me alone" & every1 repeated after him, just great, but why there were only 2 members of Metallica during this performance?

    Sum 41 & Limp Bizkit

I honestly don't get why they put Snoop Dogg on the show...I mean ####, if they were gonna do a rap version of a song, why not do "We Did It Again"?
